WWSH is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting individuals and families in the community. The organization offers a range of educational and enrichment programs, including the Beyond Chess Enrichment program and the C.A.P.E. (Children and Parents Education) program, which focus on holistic development, mental health, academic support, literacy, and physical well-being. Additionally, the L.E.A.P for Life Program (Let's Exercise and Prepare for Life) helps kids and families incorporate exercise and healthy eating into their lives. Our mission is to empower individuals and families, promote social and emotional growth, and create a positive impact in the community.
The C.A.P.E. (Children and Parents Education) Program is an initiative designed to support both children and their families through various educational and wellness activities. It focuses on enhancing Parent and Child Engagement, providing Academic Support and Literacy programs, offering Mental Health Services (SEL), and promoting Sports and Exercises.
The Beyond Chess Enrichment Program aims to uplift, educate, and empower youth by fostering teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills. This program, a part of the Working Wonders Starting Home nonprofit organization, integrates Mentoring, Sports, and Chess to provide a holistic development experience for young participants. .
The L.E.A.P for Life (Let's Exercise and Prepare for Life) program is dedicated to promoting healthy living among kids and families.
