NYU provided a response
summary
to the Task Force's
Development Report recommendations. The meeting then
continued to discuss the Task Force's roll during
the Superblock ULURP application review period.
Task Force agreed to convene on a
quarterly basis, allowing its members, the current
majority of whom are connected to this particular
application, either in their "official" capacities
in elected and appointed positions or representing
groups within the affected ULURP area, to be fully
engaged in that due process.

The 'University

Complex) was awarded landmark status by the
Landmarks Preservation Commission.

space allocations on the Superblocks for Plan 2031.
Wednesday, Sept. 17 , 2008, 5:00 p.m.- Task Force
Meeting at 1 Centre St., 19th Floor. The agenda
discussed process and timeline as they relate to NYU's
2031 urban campus planning and development projects
prior to mandated public hearings (Community Board
Committees, for instance). Additionally the Community
Task Force reviewed the initial "Working Principles"
adopted in Sept 2006. These can be seen at the bottom of
